Board and Train

With our board and train program. We do all the work here. You sit in the comfort of your home and let us train your dog. We will listen to your needs and customize a plan that works for you. All Dogs stay in our home with us and have our full attention.
Puppy's
​
Our puppy classes cover your basic puppy needs: Crate/potty training, socialization proper correction through redirection, sit, down, heel and place. Maybe you have other stuff in mind. Puppies stay for a minimum of 2 weeks and stay in our home with us.
Dog's
​
Our dog classes will will cover basic obedience and manners we will work on sit, down, heel, stay, place and more. Adult dogs stay with us for minimum of 3 weeks and stay in our home with us.

Service K9 trained by us here at Magnum K9
When we started out our German Shepherd mix had just bit the neighbor boy. She was unsure of people and would bark and growl at anyone she didn't know. She was not friendly or obedient.
We got Scott's name from the police department. We went through a 6 week training session with him and are extremely happy with Mavis's results.
Now Mavis listens and doesn't freak out when someone walks by her or approaches her. We trained at the farm store today, and as soon as we walked in people were petting her and in her face. It was amazing. I can take her for walks without worrying about other dogs or people while we are out.
Scott was flexible with our schedule and trained Mavis according to our needs. We will use him again if we get another dog.

So many good things to say about Magnum K9! I started training with Scott in January with my year and half old Lab named Trooper! I was at my breaking point with this dog. He was chewing everything, destroyed 3 pieces of leather furniture, would not listen and I could NOT walk him on a leash. I never thought I'd be able to take him for a walk. We went to our first class and Scott already had Trooper doing things I thought I'd never see. Scott explained how important it was to give Trooper a job to keep him busy, how important it is to do the work with Trooper at home and I'd see improvement. Within days, Trooper was already behaving better. Before our 6 weeks was over, Trooper was walking on a leash at my side, stopped chewing, behaving better and knew and followed commands such as sit, stay, heel and down. We are currently in our 2nd session of training to continue working on new skills. Scott is professional, knowledgeable, patient and flexible with my schedule. Trooper is much more manageable and well behaved! Training has also been fun and it is exciting to see Trooper learn new skills! I would recommend Magnum K9 to everyone! It has been great!
